Terrazza is expected to open at the former Tetto’s restaurant in Haverstock Hill tomorrow (Tuesday, March 25).
The restaurant is round the corner from the Royal Free Hospital in Pond Street. Owner Cenj Usuk says he wants to create a “community hub”.
He added: “Belsize Park is a lovely area. One or two of my friends lived here so I visited it many times. I also love the summers. It’s a magic place in the summer.
“I need to meet the locals. We have nice prices here.”

The restaurant has a rooftop bar where staff will serve cocktails and other drinks.
With an Italian chef in charge of the menu, mains will include crispy Roman-style pizza, fresh pasta, steak and fish.
Mr Usuk, who also has a restaurant in Beaconsfield, Bucks, said he was previously the general manager of Italian Restaurant FIGO, which has outlets in Stratford, Leyton and Brentwood and offers pizza, pasta and other Italian classics.
