Irish icon Taylor is the current holder of the undisputed women’s super-lightweight titles, and is in the hunt for a third consecutive win over her Puerto Rican rival.
Their debut bout in April 2022, postponed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, followed a similar thrilling script at Madison Square Garden, with the Irishwoman triumphing by split decision.
Now 39, Taylor shows no signs of slowing and has already laid down a marker, saying Serrano had more to lose in the third bout.
“At the end of the day, Amanda needs this fight a lot more than I do,” said Taylor. “I have a long history of big fights against big names, and a line of people queuing up to fight me for the payday.”

Taylor vs Serrano 3 prediction
Neither Taylor nor Serrano have fought since their previous bout in November, and there is little to suggest that the Puerto Rican has done enough in the interim to turn the tide.
On paper, the pair are very evenly matched at roughly the same height, weight, and reach, meaning it is Taylor’s technique and strategy which sets her apart.
This has been the case in the first two editions of this matchup, as the Irishwoman has used nimble footwork to her advantage, working around Serrano’s power to edge ahead in the long term.
Will it be third time lucky for Serrano? Maybe not. Will the fight go the distance? Almost certainly.
Taylor to win by decision.
