Perry Vale is closed westbound once again from Mayow Road to Westbourne Drive today (March 7), two days after the knife attack on Wednesday (March 5).
Police were called to Sunderland Road near Perry Vale just before 5.30pm and found a man had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but his condition is no longer thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
No arrests have been made at this time.
It is understood Perry Vale did reopen a couple of times to allow access, but buses confirm the road is still closed this morning.
The 356 bus route is being diverted from the areas as the crime scene remains in place.
