The work will affect trains from Monday (September 22) and Friday (September 26).

Monday to Thursday (September 22 to September 25):
Haslemere area
Due to maintenance work in the Haslemere area, some late evening services will be cancelled or replaced by buses for all or part of their journey.
Monday to Friday (September 22 to September 26):
Axminster to Exeter
The lines between Axminster and Exeter will be closed all week due to maintenance work.
London Waterloo to Exeter services will terminate at Axminster.
Buses will run between Axminster and Exeter.
A statement on the South Western Railway website says: “Late evening and early morning services may need to be altered for emergency repairs or planned work.
“We are sorry that bulky luggage, cycles and prams cannot be carried on the replacement bus services.
“Please check if you are planning to travel after 11pm or before 5.30am as buses may replace trains at short notice.”
