Alan Sach, 55, of Southern Avenue in South Norwood, pleaded guilty to three counts of theft of postal packets in Wandsworth and Croydon between February and March.
He also admitted stealing a Freedom Pass on March 25 in Croydon.
At Croydon Magistrates’ Court he was given an 18 week sentence suspended for two years.
He was also given a 10 year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) banning him from Wandsworth.
Wandsworth Police said: “A prolific parcel thief and shoplifter has been issued a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) for 10 years that prohibits them from entering Wandsworth.
“Please report any sightings of Alan Sach in Wandsworth by calling 101 or if a crime is in progress or if it is an emergency dial 999.”
