The Romford Roars Dinosaur Trail, organised by Romford BID, is free for visitors and will run from March 29 to April 22.
The models, made from hundreds of thousands of toy bricks, have been placed at key locations throughout the town.
The free family trail features triceratops, stegosaurus, and baby dinos (Image: SANDRA ROWSE) The trail will feature iconic dinosaurs, including a towering triceratops, a gigantic iguanodon, and a majestic stegosaurus.
Young explorers can also discover a herd of baby dinosaurs and learn facts about these ancient creatures.
Visitors can win prizes by completing Romford’s dinosaur adventure (Image: SANDRA ROWSE) Visitors are invited to take a selfie with the giant dinosaur footprint located along the trail.
The models will be on display at The Brewery, The Liberty, The Mercury Mall, Romford Shopping Hall, and select stores around the town centre.
Dino-themed workshops, treats, and meet-and-greets thrill young explorers (Image: SANDRA ROWSE) A free trail map will be available at various locations throughout Romford and can be downloaded from the Romford BID website.
Those who complete the trail and submit the form correctly will have the chance to win a dinosaur-themed hamper, chocolate Easter eggs, or a dinosaur-themed gift.
Creative sessions and sweet treats add bite to dinosaur trail fun (Image: SANDRA ROWSE) The Mercury Mall will be holding dinosaur-themed art workshops, suitable for children aged six and up, between 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm on April 12, 13, 18, and 19.
Each session will cost £5 to attend.
The Brewery has also arranged some sweet dino fun.
Snap a selfie with giant dino footprint on the trail across Romford (Image: SANDRA ROWSE) Between April 5 and 20, visitors to The Brewery can enjoy a free sweet treat bag when visiting participating stores displaying a dinosaur vinyl.
Romford Shopping Hall has a lineup of activities, starting on April 8, where families can enjoy a dino-themed meal and meet baby dinos while they eat.
Kids can also feed the T-Rex and ride the raptor.
Tickets are £12.50 per child and £2 for adults.
On April 9, children can decorate an Easter bonnet with dino stickers, eggs, and more for £4 per child.
Then, on April 15, families can join a fun hunt around the shopping hall to collect treats, with tickets priced at £4 per child.
Finally, on April 16, children can paint their own dinosaur egg for £3.
All events at Romford Shopping Hall must be pre-booked.
