Havering Council has opened a school street consultation for Mead Primary School, in Harold Hill, Oasis Academy Pinewood in Collier Row, and Harrow Lodge Primary School in Hornchurch to collect views on the trial schemes in each area.
An area around each school has been subject to an 18-month trial of a school street zone – which restricts traffic on the roads around the school entrance at drop-off and pick-up times.
Only pedestrians are allowed to access the zones during restricted times, with exceptions also made for residents, emergency vehicles, and school and business staff.

The trials are due to end on April 29, and the council is seeking views on how they have been going until February 23.
Havering Council argues that the school street schemes can help limit road danger around schools, reduce pollution from idling vehicles and result in less anti-social behaviour from “inconsiderate parking”.

On its consultation website, the council said: “The council is committed to making Havering’s roads safer for everyone living, working and visiting the borough.
“We are creating a cleaner environment that will reduce air pollution and improve the health and wellbeing of the community by encouraging more active travel wherever possible.”
There are 13 school street zones – including the trials – in place across the borough.
More details about each zone and the roads that they cover can be found on the council website.
Havering Council has also proposed starting new trial zones around Hornchurch High School and Towers Infant and Junior Schools.
