Police were called to concerns for the welfare of a woman in Riverside Close around 3.15pm on March 26.
Officers arrived with paramedics to find Vivienne Baraka suffering from injuries.
She died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination showed she died from compression to the neck.
Alvin Githai, 43, was charged with the murder of Vivienne yesterday (October 8) and is due in court today.
Githai was arrested at the scene before being released under investigation.
He was then re-arrested and charged on October 8.
Vivienne’s family said: “Vivienne had an infectious smile, was a mother, sister, daughter and was a bubbly person who was full of life.
“Vivienne was outgoing and loved to support her family, friends and community.
“The family continues to struggle with her untimely departure and aren’t sure if time will ever bring solace or healing after she was taken too soon from us.”
