Popeyes will open its new Walworth Road restaurant at 11am on Thursday, April 17.
This will be the 12th opening this year and the 77th since the chain came to the UK.
To celebrate the opening, the first three people in the queue will win free chicken sandwiches for a year.
The first 100 customers will also be treated to a free chicken sandwich and exclusive Popeyes UK merchandise.
The queue will officially start at 9am, and the team is advising customers to arrive early to avoid missing out on the giveaways.
Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK CEO, said: “With the continued amazing response to our London restaurants, we’re looking forward to opening Popeyes on Walworth Road — marking our 14th location in the capital.
“We can’t wait to bring a taste of New Orleans to locals in the Elephant and Castle area from 17th April.”
The new restaurant will be located at 234 to 236 Walworth Road, London, SE17 1JD, and will bring 56 new jobs to the area.
It will have 58 seats, self-service kiosks, and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes UK website or app.
The restaurant will offer both dine-in and takeaway options.
Customers will be able to enjoy Popeyes favourites such as the chicken sandwich, hot wings, tenders, and signature chicken wraps.
All of Popeyes chicken is halal certified and marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of Louisiana seasoning.
The new Saucin’ Boneless and Hot Wings range will also be available, featuring flavours such as cheesy garlic parm, bold BBQ, and spicy buffalo.
The ‘Brekkie’ menu will also be served until 11am daily, including the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns, and Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits, as well as hot drinks including cappuccinos, lattes, and English breakfast tea.
Breakfast will be available from 8am until 11am every day, and will include a breakfast meal deal for £1.99, consisting of the Chicken Brekkie Roll, a Cajun Hash Brown, and a drink.
