The major retailer has been unable to process online orders after click-and-collect orders and contactless payments were affected by the cyber attack.

The Metropolitan Police have now confirmed they are investigating the attack.

On Monday (April 28), it also told agency staff at its Castle Donington clothing and homewares logistics centre to stay home due to the continued disruption.

Now, some M&S stores have been left with empty shelves as the fallout from the cyber attack continues.

The retailer said it has “pockets of limited availability” in some of its shops and is “working hard” to get availability back to normal.
