The Monaco Grand Prix takes place this weekend, as one of the most iconic stops of the sporting calendar takes centre stage.
A mandatory two-stop rule has been imposed for this year’s race in an attempt to create more jeopardy to a circuit that can resemble something of a procession.
Qualifying, as ever, will be pivotal at Monaco, and home favourite Charles Leclerc will be desperate to win here for the second year in a row, though Ferrari’s struggles this season leave him with plenty to do.
Max Verstappen won last week at Imola to move to within 22 points of Oscar Piastri in the battle for the world title, with Lando Norris only 13 points behind his McLaren team-mate.
Leclerc set the pace in the first practice session ahead of Verstappen, with the Williams of Alex Albon splitting the two McLarens.
