It might seem a bit out of the ordinary and “amoo-sing” to hear, but commuters in north London and Hertfordshire were unable to travel on the Metropolitan line today (March 10) due to the animals.
Transport for London said there was no service between Rickmansworth and Amersham / Chesham due to “cows on the track” from around 1.30pm.
These interruptions are understood to have lasted for just under an hour.
At the time, there was still good service on the rest of the line.
This has however since resolved, with good service across the entire Metropolitan line.
