National Rail confirmed all services from Vauxhall to London Waterloo were disrupted at around 4pm today (July 1).
The incident is expected to cause major disruption to trains to and from Waterloo until 10pm.

The power on the lines were initially switched off as the incident was dealt with, however, it was restored shortly after.
Commuters have been advised to check before they travel and to find alternative routes where possible.
Alternatively, tickets will be accepted on the following services:
Great Western Railway:
- between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo
- between Basingstoke and Reading
London Underground:
- Bakerloo line between London Paddington and London Waterloo
- Bakerloo and Northern line between Embankment and London Waterloo
- Jubilee line customers can change at London Waterloo for District and Circle line services
- District and Circle line between Richmond and London Waterloo
- London buses between Wimbledon, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield and London Waterloo
- Southern between Clapham Junction and Dorking
