Now, the Reds will not be awarded the Premier League trophy on Sunday as those celebrations will have to wait until after the final home game of the season against Crystal Palace on May 25.

That said, the newly crowned champions will be looking to bounce back from defeat away to Chelsea last weekend and open up an 18-point gap over Arsenal to really rub salt into the wounds.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Liverpool vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 4.30pm BST kick-off today, Sunday, May 11, 2025.

The match will take place at Anfield, Liverpool.

Where to watch Liverpool vs Arsenal

TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports. Coverage starts at 4.15pm BST on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League ahead of a 4.30pm kick-off.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.

Live blog: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert analysis from Simon Collings at the ground.

Liverpool vs Arsenal team news

Liverpool’s only injury concern remains Joe Gomez. The defender has been out since February but is back in training, though today’s game is likely to come too soon for a return.

Elsewhere, Slot could hand recalls to Andy Robertson, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai after opting for heavy rotation at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

Mikel Arteta welcomed back Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho in midweek but is expected to be without Gabriel, Gabriel Jesus, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kai Havertz for the trip to Anfield.

Liverpool vs Arsenal prediction

Arsenal have struggled in the Premier League of late and it is because of their patchy form that a Champions League qualification place has not been secured as of yet.

Under Arteta, their results away from home against a traditional big six side has vastly improved but form is not something that can be turned on at the flick of a switch as they are facing a Liverpool side that are impressive at home.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

The Gunners have not lost on their last two visits to Anfield, though they have dropped points from winning positions on both occasions and you have to go back to 2012 for their last league win on this ground.
