The Northern Line station reopened late last year after closing in June 2023 for work to replace two 26-year-old escalators.
Work to replace the escalators was scheduled to take until early summer in 2024, but Transport for London (TfL) announced in February that the station would stay closed until September as other areas needed “essential repair”.
Although the station has been open since December, the ticket machines are still not ready to use.
A spokesperson for Transport for London said it is aiming to complete the installation of ticket machines by the end of April.

Conservative mayoral candidate Susan Hall wrote to the Labour mayor Sadiq Khan last year seeking answers about the “absurd” delay.
Shopkeepers also said the prolonged closure was harming trade.
TfL explained that soon after work began issues were identified with materials used in the construction of the ceiling and ticket hall floor of the historic station, which first opened in 1907.
Repairs to the ticket area can only be done when the station is closed to lessen the impact on customers.
Customers wanting to top up their Oyster card or purchase a paper ticket are advised to do so before arriving at the station.
People can also also tap in and out with their bank cards or smart phones.
