Winners of the annual Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2025 (ARTA) were announced on Monday (October 6) at a grand ceremony at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
Nicknamed the “Curry Oscars”, these awards celebrate the very best of Pan Asian cuisine, recognising the best of the UK’s vibrant Asian restaurant and takeaway scene.
This year’s ceremony welcomed leading restaurateurs, MPs, celebrities and TV personalities including Elma Pazar, Ella Wise, Harriet Mae Blackmore, Lacey Martin, Hayley Palmer and Paige Chohan, with hosting duties shared between TV news anchor Samantha Simmonds and magician Paul Martin.

ARTA Founder Mohammed Munim praised the winners, saying: “Heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and finalists of ARTA 2025 – the outstanding Pan Asian restaurants, takeaways, and chefs who continue to set the benchmark for excellence in the UK’s hospitality scene.
“This industry represents more than just food; it is a celebration of the richness of multicultural Britain.”
Supported by ChefOnline (Strategic Partner) and sponsors including DNA Payments, Super Pollo, Work Permit Cloud, and Cobra Beer, the ARTA remains the UK’s only official award recognising excellence in the Pan Asian catering industry — as determined by the people who matter most: its diners.
