Yesterday (May 1), voters across Dartford cast their ballots to elect their new county councillors.
Beverley Fordham emerged as the winner following today’s (May 2) count, replacing Jan Ozog, who had previously represented the division as a Conservative candidate.
Ozog was not seeking re-election, so Richard John Wells ran as the Conservative candidate.
The total vote tally for Dartford West reached 4,341, with Fordham securing 1,615 of those votes.
Verification of the ballots started at 10am today, with the counting process officially commencing around 11.30am at Dartford Civic Centre.
Polling stations were open from 7am to 10pm yesterday.
As a result of this victory, Reform UK has taken the seat from the Conservative Party.
