It is the Birmingham favourite’s first fight since his 16-month reign as the UFC’s welterweight champion was ended in a decision defeat by Belal Muhammad at UFC 304 in Manchester last summer.
Edwards was initially scheduled to face Jack Della Maddalena to top the UFC Fight Night 255 bill back in the UK, only for the Australian to be moved into a challenge for the title himself as the main event at UFC 315 in Montreal in May.
Instead it will be American welterweight Brady stepping up to try and spring an upset as the UFC returns to London for the first time since 2023, when Edwards successfully defended his title in a third clash with Kamaru Usman.
There is plenty more action to look forward to at the O2 Arena tonight, including the return of ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann as she takes on UFC debutant and late replacement opponent Alexia Thainara.
Elsewhere on the main card, England’s Nathaniel Wood battles Morgan Charriere and there is an all-British meeting between Jordan Vucenic and Chris Duncan, while a light-heavyweight fight between former champion Jan Blachowicz and Carlos Ulberg provides the chief support for Edwards vs Brady.
