The World Cup of Darts is nearly upon us as the biggest team event in the sport returns to our screens.
Luke Littler and Luke Humphries represent England, and the pair are the hot favourites in the competition, which runs from Thursday June 12 to Sunday June 15.
Littler and Humphries are ranked world no1 and 2, with England seeded first for the 15th edition of the event in Frankfurt, Germany.
England are defending champions after defeating Austria 10-6 in last year’s final, with Humphries and Michael Smith doing the business at the Eissportshalle.
The other home nations – Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland – complete the top four-ranked duos, and they all receive byes into the knockout stages.
Gerwyn Price will step up to the oche for Wales, while Peter Wright is part of the Scottish team.
Michael van Gerwen will not play for the Netherlands, making his decision to miss the event after his victory at the German Darts Grand Prix, the 38th European Tour title of his career.

Instead, Danny Noppert and Gian van Veen will represent the Netherlands, with the pair ranked 16th and 23rd in the PDC Order of Merit respectively.
The tournament features 40 countries, comprising two-man teams, begins with a group stage across the first two days.
The last 16 dominates the second day, before the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final all happen on a ‘super Sunday’, June 15.

Both the afternoon and evening sessions – which came into action in the knockout stages – will be shown on Sky Sports Darts, with several sessions also on Sky Sports Main Event.
