Pep Guardiola’s side find themselves in a huge fight just to secure Champions League football, with it not inconceivable that the club fail to qualify for Europe’s top-tier competition.

City sit sixth in the table as it stands but this is their game in hand on the teams above, and victory would lift them into third in the table.

Defeat, though, and they will be relying on favours from the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa on the final day of the season this weekend.

A win tonight and the Cherries will move up to ninth in the table in what has been another hugely impressive season.
