The busy road in Willesden has been shut off by police near the junction of Brondesbury Park today (July 7) after the knife attack.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11.54am and medics treated a man at the scene.

He has been taken to hospital for further treatment.

The High Road is taped off as police investigate.

This has not been confirmed by the Metropolitan Police at this stage.

However, the Pound Village shop has extra police tape blocking off the entrance within the cordon.
