After a flood of nominations, judges had to make tough choices to narrow down the finalists.
This year’s panel included Councillors Jackie Smith and Majid Rahman, Dr Wenxian Sun, Kemi Madumere, Paddy Rogers, Mark Jenkinson, and Christofi Christou.
A council spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who has entered and congratulations to everyone who has been shortlisted.”
The public now has a chance to vote in three categories: Best Food and Drink Venue, High Street Business, and Market or Mobile Trader.
Votes can be on the Greenwich Council website u p until Friday, January 10, at 11.59pm.
The Best Food and Drink Venue category is sponsored by Drury Tea and Coffee, with Cakes & Layers, Madre Pinzeria Italiana, Old Cottage Coffee Shop, and Rewa Sushi and Momo all in the running.
London City Airport sponsors the Best New Business category, which features Cakes & Layers, GOOD KOFFEE & BLESSING EVENTS, The Coffee Studio, and We Candle It.
In the Digital category, sponsored by Digital Greenwich Connect, Alhaji Foods Ltd, Learn French With Alexa, ProjectYou Academy, and Roon’s Catering are shortlisted.
Berkeley Homes sponsors the Entrepreneur Over 30 category, featuring Alpha Childcare, Black Eats LDN, Inclusive Stories Ltd, and Studia On_.
The Entrepreneur Under 30 category, sponsored by the University of Greenwich, sees bloss.m, ProjectYou Academy, RISE Coaching and Mentoring, and TULASI in the running.

The winners of these 14 categories, and the Business of the Year Award 2024, will be announced at an awards ceremony on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Intercontinental Hotel – The O2.
The awards are organised by the Royal Borough of Greenwich in association with LandsecU+I and the South East London Chamber of Commerce.
The Business of the Year winner will receive a £3,000 prize sponsored by BPTW.
The champagne reception is sponsored by Greenwich Market, and the Mayor’s Raffle is sponsored by Lovell Homes.
