The Cottagers finished right in the middle of the pack last term as Marco Silva led them to an 11th-placed finish. A fine first half of the campaign saw them climb as high as sixth, but an inconsistent second half led to them dropping out of the top half.

The west Londoners enjoyed a quieter season, not threatened by relegation, nor entangled in the end-of-season pursuit of a European place, although the latter could well be a target for Silva in this campaign.

Fulham’s first real challenge comes in their second and third fixtures, with the visit of Manchester United to, and that will be part of a tough opening run for Silva’s side as they also face Aston Villa, Arsenal and Newcastle before the end of October. They play host Chelsea on January 7.

The traditional festive period will see Fulham face Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Crystal Palace. Their first game of 2026 is at home to Liverpool. The season concludes at home to Newcastle.
