Empire Chinese Restaurant is taking bookings for both lunch and dinner this Father’s Day – between 12.30pm and 2.30pm for lunch and 5.30pm and 10.30pm for dinner.
The restaurant in Victoria Road offers set menus featuring classic Chinese dishes, including beef in black bean sauce and Kung Po prawns.

Harvester, in Main Road, offers a three-course menu, priced at £25.99, features chargrilled chicken skewers, ribeye steak and grilled salmon – as well as dessert options like apple pie and treacle sponge.

RAFA Club
For a Sunday roast with all the trimmings, you could head to Romford Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) Club this Sunday.
The club in Carlton Road is serving up lamb, beef, chicken or pork roast dinners for £10.95, between 1pm and 4.30pm. Pre-booking is required.
