“The food arrived very quickly and was good and a decent sized portion.

A less happy reviewer said: “Time was when I would eat here several times a week but that’s very much in the past.
“The menu has gradually deteriorated – there used to be a good choice of smaller items.
“The chips seem to be ever worse and the bacon, for both breakfasts and for burger toppings.”

One reviewer said: “A nice little local Wetherspoons, which is perfect for breakfast.
“Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.
“And the food menu offers good value for money.
“The pub can get busy in the evenings and weekends, however is normally peaceful early on during the day.”
One reviewer, however, felt that the Sir Julian Huxley has changed overtime, saying: “Haven’t been in for a long time.
“Used to be semi regular when meeting friends.
“All the staff have changed and so has the atmosphere.”
