Crystal Palace vs Brighton team news
Crystal Palace will hope to welcome Chadi Riad back into the matchday squad after he returned to training last week, several months after suffering a serious knee injury. He was not passed fit in time to face AZ, though.
Glasner is also monitoring Ismaila Sarr’s fitness after he played through hamstring tightness on Thursday.
Cheick Doucoure and Eddie Nketiah are both expected to miss out, but it is hoped both could be back in contention after the international break.
Glasner may be tempted to rotate his side after he named a strong starting lineup against Alkmaar. The Eagles have just two days off before they face Brighton.

The Seagulls will leave several first-team players on the south coast. Chiefly, Karou Mitoma may miss out with an ankle injury – he will face a late fitness test before travelling.
Joel Veltman is expected to play after shaking off a knock, though Jack Hinshelwood and James Milner are both sidelined. So too are Brajan Gruda, Solly March, and Adam Webster.
Crystal Palace vs Brighton prediction
As their proximity in the Premier League table suggests, this match is almost too close to call.
Crystal Palace face the obvious disadvantage of having just 48 hours to recover from a midweek European fixture before facing Brighton, who have had over a week off since beating Leeds last time out.
With that said, Palace seem to be improving with every match they play. Thursday’s defeat of Alkmaar was arguably among their best performances of the season so far. Whether they are fit enough to replicate it remains to be seen, but derby hype should be enough to cancel out any heavy legs.
