In a list created by Furniturebox, they highlighted the UK’s happiest places by speaking to more than 5,000 people across the country to see which areas top the list for “joy, belonging, and that all-important sense of home”.
Sharing how locations were ranked, Furniturebox said that they looked out for the key elements of: the beauty of the surroundings and green spaces, provision of good state schools, provision of affordable housing and access to quality pubs, restaurants, independent shops and cultural attractions.
For London, just one location made the list, with the borough of Crouch End 31st in the list of 75.

London borough named among the happiest places to live in the UK
The picturesque Crouch End has a lot to offer, from its range of pubs and restaurants, housing prices and its ideal location.
Just five miles from the City of London, the borough has become a popular family hotspot over the years.
Among one of London’s wealthier spots, the average property price in Crouch End is £728,915 according to Rightmove.
The property experts share that over the last year, the majority of properties sold in the area were flats, selling for an average price of £542,523.
While terraced properties sold for an average of £1,211,881, with semi-detached properties fetching £1,549,980.
