A casualty on the tracks was reported at the Central line station just before 9am yesterday (April 6).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended, and a person was taken to hospital for treatment.
Their condition was assessed as life threatening.
The incident is not thought be suspicious.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Chancery Lane Underground station at around 8.59am yesterday (6 April) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Officers and paramedics attended and a person has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
“The incident is not thought to be suspicious.”
