Mark Ginn, 41, sent the messages on Facebook in October 2023.
Within days Ginn found himself confronted by members of an online paedophile hunter group as he had actually been speaking to a ‘decoy’ account.
In January this year he appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and two counts of attempting to incite a girl to engage in sexual activity.
Included in the charges were that he sent an indecent photo of his penis and requested sexual photos of the young girl.
On Tuesday, April 22, Ginn appeared at Woolwich Crown Court for sentencing but the hearing was adjourned as his barrister was not present.
