Nick is a teacher at Hayes School in Bromley and Jordan is a recruiter, both of whom are keen to use their interest in running to make a difference.
The duo, both Australians who met in London, will begin their epic 21-day run on July 27, aiming to cover nearly 70 kilometres every day.

In a statement, the pair said: “This run is not about proving how tough we are.
“It is about using our bodies, our story, and whatever platform we have to bring some light to those going through unimaginably difficult times.”
The two started their running journey together in 2023, forming the Foster’s Run Club in Clapham, which has since grown into a community of London runners.

The route from John O’Groats to Land’s End will see them facing an elevation gain of 14,188 metres, more than one and a half times the height of Mount Everest.
The runners will be supported by Nick’s father, Mike, who will be accompanying them in a campervan.
Half of the costs of the challenge, including the campervan, fuel, food, accommodation, kit, and recovery tools, are being self-funded by the runners.
The other half of the funds raised will go directly to Rays of Sunshine.

The pair are also seeking support from businesses and individuals who believe in their cause.
They are looking for assistance with items such as accommodation, food, running shoes, nutrition, recovery gear, and technical clothing.
The estimated total cost of the run is around £15,000.
The runners will be sharing their journey in real time through Strava, video updates, and social media content.
Their full route has been published and can be followed on Strava.
The runners state that their journey is “raw, honest, and happening in real time.”
They hope their journey will provide inspiration and show what ordinary people can achieve when they dream big and go all in.

The duo hope that their journey will not only raise money but also awareness for Rays of Sunshine, helping the charity to continue creating unforgettable moments for children with serious illnesses.
