The LaLiga leaders – still unbeaten across all competitions in 2025 – were dominant in last week’s first leg. Running out 4-0 winners at home thanks to strikes from Raphinha and Lamine Yamal as well as a brace from Robert Lewandowski against his former club.
It means Dortmund must produce a comeback of epic proportions to reach a Champions League semi-final in successive years.
However, having failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight games, it is going to be a huge mountain to climb against a Barca side chasing a treble.
Both sides were in action at the weekend with Barcelona recording a 1-0 win over Leganes to maintain their four-point lead at the top of LaLiga, whilst Dortmund earned a point away at Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona prediction
Dortmund will be playing for pride as the chances of a comeback are incredibly slim. That said, if they get the first goal early then anything can happen in football and Barcelona know too well that a large first leg win guarantees nothing.
However, this is a very different Barca side and whilst they don’t have to win the second leg outright, they have far too much attacking power and Hansi Flick will be keen to preserve the unbeaten record.
