Pep Guardiola’s side travel to Norway in the knowledge that victory will boost their chances of a top-eight finish and thus avoiding two extra games next month.
Bodo/Glimt, meanwhile, are on the brink of elimination from Europe altogether as they must win and hope results from elsewhere go in their favour.

Bodo/Glimt vs Man City team news
Bodo/Glimt have not played a competitive fixture since their 2-2 Champions League draw against Borussia Dortmund on December 10.
Left-back Isak Dybvik Maatta limped off late on during the game, but has since returned to action by featuring in both friendly matches against Groningen and DVTK.
Matheus Nunes, who missed the game at Old Trafford through illness, has not been named in the squad along with the likes of Ruben Dias, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Nico Gonzalez and Josko Gvardiol.
January signing Antoine Semenyo is not eligible to feature in the Champions League as he cannot be registered until the knockout phase, should Man City progress.
His place in the squad is taken by a returning Omar Marmoush who has been away for a month at the Africa Cup of Nations, finishing fourth with Egypt.

Bodo/Glimt vs Man City prediction
Man City continue to blow hot and cold. While they put TEN goals past Exeter and impressed in spells against Newcastle, they have looked vulnerable defensively and were lucky to only concede twice in the Manchester derby.
Bodo/Glimt did pose Tottenham problems in the league phase meeting earlier in the campaign, but are yet to win at home in the Champions League as they’ve struggled to adjust to the step up in quality.
We think City will have too much for the Norwegians, claiming a narrow win to boost their hopes of a top-eight finish.
