This paper has seen a letter addressed to residents and businesses in Bethnal Green notifying them of three days of TV production next week.
Across Monday 7, Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 July, Left Bank Picture will be shooting in Town Hall Hotel, Patriot Square for new drama series Dear England.
The BBC adaptation is based on the National Theatre play of the same name and will too star Joseph Fiennes as former England boss Gareth Southgate.
Production will take place on the three days and will see cast and crew members appear on Tuesday.

“To achieve this, we have requested to put two scissor lifts within some parking bays on Patriot Square.
“The lighting department will then put film lights on the scissor lift platform, which will shine directly into the set.”
The letter claims “the lights will not be directed at your property” and will “only be directed into the rooms where we are filming”.
Technical vehicles will be parked on the following roads: Cambridge Heath Road, Old Bethnal Green Road, Middleton Street, Clarkson Street and Parmiter Road.

“The stage play premiered at the National Theatre to five-star reviews and a sell-out run in 2023, before transferring to London’s West End.”
The show is written by James Graham and will feature four 60-minute episodes on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Lindsay Salt, director of BBC Drama, said: “Dear England was a back-of-the-net triumph on stage, and we could not be happier to work with James Graham, Joseph Fiennes, Rupert Goold and the team to give it the perfect home on the BBC.
“A story about the England team, football, national identity and so much more, this is hugely entertaining must-see television drama.”
