The London Ambulance Service was alerted to the incident on Aspen Way, near Billingsgate Market, at 1.54am this morning (July 6).
An ambulance crew and incident response officer were dispatched to the scene alongside London’s Ambulance Service by car.
The crash occurred on the westbound stretch of the road, Where a car was left rolled over onto its roof.
A person was found injured at the scene and was taken to hospital.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.54am on Sunday 6 July to reports of a road traffic incident near Billingsgate Market, E14.
“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance by car.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to hospital as a priority.”
