Arsenal vs Liverpool team news
Arsenal’s injury woes are beginning to clear with Riccardo Calafiori and Cristhian Mosquera the only first team players sidelined along with youngster Max Dowman.
Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard are expected to return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in the 3-2 win over Bournemouth, while Piero Hincapie should get the nod over Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back.

As for Liverpool, their main injury concern is the in-form Hugo Ekitike. The Frenchman missed the 2-2 draw at Fulham with a hamstring complaint and Arne Slot wasn’t sure if the forward would be fit for the trip to north London.
If Ekitike is ruled out then Cody Gakpo is the most likely option to lead the line given Alexander Isak is out injured and Mohamed Salah is away on international duty with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Slot has been rotating his full-backs recently, so it could mean that Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson start to provide a more solid defensive platform.

Arsenal vs Liverpool prediction
While Arsenal are expected to win this match, and quite convincingly in the view of many, these types of games rarely turn out in such a way.
Regardless of Liverpool’s form, this will be a close encounter and we think the Gunners will edge it – just.
