The road, from the Ebbsfleet Interchange to the Pepper Hill Interchange, will be shut for the installation of a Toucan crossing.
The closure is part of a joint-funded scheme by National Highways Limited and Kent County Council.
The affected route is a distribution road running parallel to the coast-bound carriageway of the A2.
The closure is set to take place from 8pm to 6am, starting on or after Monday, March 24, 2025.
Traffic will be rerouted via the A2260, A226, and B262.
The order allowing the closure will come into effect from March 22, 2025, lasting for a maximum of 18 months, but the closure will end once the works are complete.
The closures will be clearly marked by traffic signs during the works period.
The works are designed to ensure road safety during the installation of the new crossing.
