Rory McIlroy could add yet more silverware to his already impressive haul this evening as the 2025 BBC Sport Personality of the Year winner is revealed. The Northern Irishman is the bookies’ favourite to pick up this year’s title after he completed a prestigious career grand slam by winning the Masters back in April, but he faces stiff competition for the honour. Also featuring on the six-strong shortlist are two Lionesses – Hannah Hampton and Chloe Kelly – after they inspired England to Euros glory over the summer, while darts sensation Luke Littler is also in the running.
