Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Calne Avenue shortly after midnight yesterday (December 8) after a fire broke out at a semi-detached house.
Most of the first floor and part of the roof was damaged in the blaze, however there were no reports of any injuries.
Three people managed to leave the property before crews from Hainault, Ilford and Woodford fire stations arrived, and the blaze was extinguished by 1.21am.

The fire is believed to have been accidental and was caused by the unsafe use of a candle.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson warned against leaving candles unattended or near anything that can easily catch light.
The spokesperson said: “Consider using battery-powered, flameless LED candles instead, which are safe even if you fall asleep.
“Whilst they may cost more upfront than traditional candles, they will last considerably longer, giving you better value for money.
“If you do choose to use traditional candles ensure you place them in a heat-resistant holder, on a stable surface where they won’t be knocked over and away from materials that could catch fire.
“Never leave them unattended around your home, take particular care with children and pets and blow them out properly before you go to bed.”
