Miro Brasserie & Lounge was set to welcome customers on December 1 for its grand opening at 3-5 Station Road.
The latest eatery to join the area is “inspired by European brasseries”, and has replaced former occupants Ace Creams & Tapas.
However just days after the launch date was revealed, a new update was issued to the restaurant’s Instagram page.

It reads: “We were so excited to welcome you all on December 1, but due to final touches taking a little longer than expected, our grand opening will now take place on Thursday, December 4.
“Thank you so much for your patience and support. We can’t wait to open our doors and share everything we’ve been working on.”
A comment made under the same post by Miro revealed further details of the nature of the delay as “unexpected technical issues”.
