A TikToker under the profile name Itsdatguyfromends often posts videos about London’s boroughs and has amassed 10.4million likes across his page.
He has 112,500 followers.
On November 5, he posted a video highlighting each London borough’s most “mysterious” area.
It has since been viewed more than 190,000 times and had more than 14,000 likes.
‘I’m going around every single borough in London and finding its most mysterious area,” he said.
“And by mysterious I mean irrelevant, or under-spoken about, an under-populated area or an area you drive past and know nothing about – just a mysterious area.”
Going in alphabetical order itsdatguyfromends started with Barking and Dagenham.
He claimed Becontree was the most mysterious area here.
He asked: “Who the hell lives in Becontree?
“You’re meaning to tell me Barking and Dagenham isn’t composed of just Barking and Dagenham and Barking Riverside?
“Who the hell invited Becontree?
“Yeah this area is mysterious bro – I don’t want to know anything about it.”
He then deemed Upminster to be the most mysterious in Havering.
“I’ll tell you what these guys are good at – these guys are good at minding their own business,” he said.
“We don’t bother them and they don’t bother us but they’re definitely mysterious.
“These guys are in the middle of nowhere.”
Newham and Redbridge both had short assessments.
North Woolwich was deemed the most mysterious area in Newham and the TikTok star claimed he had “heard this area a million times” and still know “nothing about it”.
Redbridge’s most mysterious area was Hainault.
“Who? Irrelevant!”
Wapping got itsdatguyfromends’ vote for the most mysterious area in Tower Hamlets.
He said: “If you have Whitechapel, Canary Wharf, Bow – all these tourist attractions, why do you need Wapping?
“I do know about this place, I just don’t care.”
The last east London borough to be included was Waltham Forest where Chingford was deemed the most mysterious.
“Don’t get me wrong, nice name but what the hell actually goes on in here?” he asked.
