Jamie Laing is set to switch on the festive Christmas lights at 6pm during the Merry Marylebone Christmas Lights event in central London.
The event runs from 3pm to 8pm.
The presenter and entrepreneur will take to the stage on Devonshire Street, with BBC presenter and Marylebone Village resident Jo Good hosting the day’s festivities.
The event is organised by The Howard de Walden Estate and supports The Marylebone Project, which helps homeless women.
Laing, who founded confectionery brand Candy Kittens, has had a varied career that includes co-hosting BBC Radio 1’s Going Home and appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.
He recently completed Comic Relief’s Ultra Marathon Man challenge, running five consecutive ultra-marathons from London to Salford, raising more than £2 million.
Marylebone Village will be filled with festive activities including late-night shopping, market stalls, a Santa’s Grotto, a Ferris wheel, and live music.
A charity tombola will also take place on Marylebone High Street, with prizes from local businesses.
All proceeds from the Santa’s Grotto and tombola will go to The Marylebone Project, which supports homeless women and is the UK’s largest centre of its kind.
The event promises a lively and festive atmosphere to kick off the Christmas season.
Visitors can expect an evening full of entertainment and opportunities to support a good cause.
The Marylebone Project offers practical and emotional support to women experiencing homelessness, helping them rebuild their lives.
The event aims to raise both funds and awareness for the work of the charity.
