Taking place within the historic grounds of Beckenham Place Park, the Winter Gardens is a new outdoor experience bringing the festive spirit to Lewisham.
Beginning on Saturday, November 15, the event will run over the festive period until January 4, 2026, with free entry to the gardens itself.
The event, supported by Lewisham Council, will turn the park into a winter wonderland featuring Lewisham’s “first” covered ice rink, The Revel Puck Circus, festive funfair, a Christmas-themed mini golf course, and a festive funfair and market.
The funfair will feature over 15 rides including Santa’s Runaway Train and reindeer flying planes, whilst the market will feature 15 stalls selling everything from handmade gifts to seasonal treats.

Also at the event you’ll find O’ Christmas Tree where you can shop for premium trees and decorations to get you in the festive spirit.
As for the food and drink, offerings will range from festive Yorkshire pudding wraps and gourmet burgers to churros and traditional sweets.
The event is also dog-friendly with complimentary pup-a-chinos on offer and a dog shop in the Homestead Courtyard.
Meanwhile, The Winter Lodge will offer a cosy covered area serving everything from mulled wine and festive cocktails with live music to a family friendly area with board games and Christmas films, as well as a games bar for teens.
In the Homestead Courtyard, guests can find a range of seasonal entertainment from carol singing and live music along with festive shopping.

Also making an appearance will be the man in red himself, with families able to visit Santa in his Grotto by booking a slot in advance.
But it’s not just about festive fun, the event will also encourage visitors to donate to local charity the Lewisham Donation Hub, which will have a space at the event.
Cllr Louise Krupski – Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Environment, Transport and Climate Action – said: “It’s brilliant to see one of our most iconic parks transformed into a festive wonderland.
“I really hope residents will come down with friends and family to have fun, enjoy the atmosphere, support local businesses and make some truly special memories together.”
Entry to the Winter Gardens is free, with tickets for particular attractions such as the ice rink and circus bookable online.
