Police were called near St George’s Shopping Centre on St Kilda’s Road soon after 9am today (November 12).
Officers arrived with paramedics but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is being treated by police as “unexpected but not suspicious”.
A spokesperson for St George’s said that “Our thoughts are with the individual and his family”.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At around 09:05hrs on Wednesday, 12 November police were called to St Kilda’s Road, Harrow following reports a 17-year-boy had fallen from height.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, sadly despite the best efforts of paramedics the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
“The incident is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.”
