The incident happened in London Road near Craignish Avenue just after 9.30am today (November 12).
A number of resources were despatched to the scene along with an air ambulance.
London Ambulance Service crews treated two people at the scene before both were taken to hospital.
Their conditions have not been confirmed.
Closures were put in place on London Road in both directions between Craignish Avenue and St Helen’s Road, with detours and bus diversions in place.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.31am today (12 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in London Road, SW16.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance.
“We treated two patients at the scene. We took one of the patients to a major trauma centre and the other to a local hospital.”
