PC Duncan Bouette sent a series of messages outlining the abuse before he wrote online about extreme, violent sexual practices.
Within a month of sending the messages Bouette had been arrested, sacked and sentenced.
Last Thursday, November 6, he was sentenced to an 18-month suspended prison sentence alongside 200 hours of unpaid work.
An accelerated misconduct report has now revealed that Bouette was dismissed from the force two days earlier.
Superintendent Lynne Forster, who leads policing in North East London said: “PC Bouette’s behaviour was completely unacceptable and specialist officers moved swiftly following information received.
“PC Bouette’s guilty plea meant an accelerated misconduct hearing was organised and he was dismissed on Tuesday, 4 November.
“From his arrest to dismissal and sentencing has taken less than a month, showing our determination to tackle offending by our officers.”
The 38-year-old sent a series of messages about the sexual abuse of children on November 18 last year.
Then between October 2 and October 3 this year he sent messages via a secure messaging application that related to extreme, violent sexual practices.
