Now, the FA have confirmed in a statement that the Italian will be banned from the touchline for a single game – Chelsea’s visit to Nottingham Forest this weekend – and be made to pay an £8,000 fine after acting ”in an improper manner and/or [using] abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour during the fixture’, which led to his dismissal around the 96th minute.”
