Tickets for Dracula at the Noel Coward Theatre are now on general sale and offer the chance to see her play all 23 roles in Bram Stoker’s Gothic thriller.
The second instalment of the hit Oz musical For Good will be out in UK Cinemas on November 21 starring Erivo and Ariana Grande.
After that the Oscar nominee, Emmy and Grammy award-winner will be swapping her green make-up for buckets of blood in a version of the vampire tale adapted and directed by Kip Williams.
He’s the visionary director who scored a hit with Succession star Sarah Snook in last year’s one woman rendition of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Now it’s Stockwell-born Erivo’s turn to take on multiple roles as she returns to the stage for the first time in nearly a decade in a daring and intimate performance.
First staged by Sydney Theatre Company last year, he radical reimagining follows the story of naive solicitor Jonathan Harker who visits the Transylvanian castle of Count Dracula. When the Count travels to England, Harker becomes embroiled with the vampire hunter Van Helsing and tries to stop him spreading his sinister influence with fiancee Mina.
Fusing live video, pre-recorded film and Erivo’s live performance, Williams’ adaptation, , will reorient the story around a psychological battle between fear and desire, blurring the boundaries between self and other, and suggesting the monster is perhaps not external, but within.
Erivo made her Broadway debut in the multi award winning musical The Color Purple and has since appeared in movies such as Harriet and Widows. She recently released her second studio album, ‘I Forgive You’, and is currently in production on Gina Prince-Bythewood’s Children of Blood and Bone starring Viola Davis, and Idris Elba.
Dracula previews from February 4, 2026 with a 16 week run until May 30, 2026.
