Police in Hertsmere launched an investigation after five separate homes across Bushey and Harrow reported that jewellery had been stolen after the victims were visited by people they had hired as cleaners.
The series of alleged burglaries and thefts took place between July 11 and July 22, this year.

There was a further report that items had also been taken from an address in December 2024.
The trio, aged 27, 27, and 26, were arrested yesterday morning (October 9).
They remain in police custody as the investigation continues.
