The closure, between the junction with Sinclair Grove and outside 285 Golders Green Road, will allow the creation of a temporary ‘pit lane’ for development work.
The London Borough of Barnet has announced that the closure will start on Friday, October 10.
A pedestrian diversion will be put in place during this period.
The closure means a temporary suspension of the existing ‘No Waiting at any time’ restriction in the affected area.

The council said the closure was necessary to facilitate the pit lane on the footway, supporting the development work at 285 Golders Green Road.
The footway will remain closed for the duration of the works, with the pedestrian diversion ensuring continued access.
The notice also stated that the temporary measures would not apply to actions undertaken with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer in uniform, or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
