Four months ago, they were partners. Tonight, Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus are opponents at WWE Evolution.
After teaming up to successfully beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber back in March, Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s championship against the Hall of Famer.
This match came about when Stratton handpicked Stratus as her opponent during the July 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The legend duly accepted and will seek to become an eight-time world champion.
Whoever walks out of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, as champion may know their next defence in advance as the winner of the Battle Royal – involving Nikki Bella – will receive a world title match at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event (PLE) at the end of August.
Alternatively the winner could pick the Women’s world champion whether that be IYO SKY or Rhea Ripley.
Meanwhile, in arguably the most anticipated bout on the card, Becky Lynch defends the Women’s Intercontinental championship in a triple threat match against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Elsewhere on the card, Naomi and Jade Cargill look to settle a score in a No Holds Barred match whilst Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez put the WWE Women’s tag team titles on the line in fatal four-way match where there is no champions advantage.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch this one unfold…
